Story of how it came to be:
In recent years, Waco's artistic and cultural scene has experienced tremendous growth due to local support of the arts from community members, local businesses, our city leaders - and most importantly - our creative community creating awesome work! The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many within our arts community due to the cancelation or postponement of performances, seasons, exhibitions and other income-generating opportunities.
We believe that Waco's growing identity for arts and culture is more essential to its future success than ever before.
Our priority is to make sure our artistic and creative community has the best possible support to survive this intermission and to re-enter the stage with confidence when the curtain rises for the next act. Make It In Waco is your chance to support local artists...and buy cool stuff!

We hope Make It In Waco will become an ongoing resource to facilitate transaction-based arts opportunities.This platform is quick and free to use for artists and arts businesses, and an easy way to discover, commission, stream, and support our creative community long after COVID-19 is over.
To ensure our arts and creative community continues to grow and thrive, especially during unexpected times of need, Creative Waco is launching the "Make It Through Corona" emergency fund. Fifteen percent of each purchase will be donated to the program.
We are doing our best to find creative solutions to support the needs of our creative community during this unprecedented time. Please bear with us as we work out the kinks. We appreciate your commitment to the arts!
