Thinking about auditioning for a play but don’t know what to expect or where to start? Or are you planning to audition for a show or school, and want to make the best showing you can?

Spend an hour working on a monologue, cold reading skills, or any other aspect of auditioning you want to polish up.

Your coach will be Luann Jennings, managing director of InSite Waco. Luann has been teaching acting and directing/producing plays professionally for more than 30 years. She has a BFA and MFA in theatre and has worked in Atlanta, Knoxville, and New York City.

Luann will go over some basics of auditioning and give you some preparation tips in advance of your coaching session so that the hour can be spent on your feet working.

Acting One and Two

Acting Two

Have some basic acting knowledge and want to go to the next level? Join Acting Two, a scene study class. You’ll work on characterization, stage movement, and communication in a two-person scene from a play, then perform it for your friends and family on the last night of class! For ages 17 and up.

Acting Two will meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm, August 4-25 (four classes), at Cultivate 7twelve in downtown Waco.
